Registration
- Tuesday, October 15, is the last day for regular registration for the November 5 General Election.
- If you miss the registration deadline, you can register and vote with a provisional ballot during Early Voting and on Election Day. Registration must be done in person at your local voter registration office or satellite location during early voting. On Election Day, voters must register at the polling place for the precinct in which they reside. Learn more about same day voter registration here.
Absentee/Mail-In Ballots
- Ballot Request: Friday, October 25, is the deadline for your local voter registration office to receive your mail-in ballot request by mail, fax, or online for the November 5 General Election.
- Ballot Return Deadline - By Mail: Completed ballots returned by mail must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by your local voter registration office by 7 pm on Friday, November 8. USPS recommends mailing your ballot back at least 7 days before Election Day.
- Ballot Return Deadline - In Person: Completed ballots can be hand-delivered to your local voter registration office, any polling place within your county or city, or another ballot drop-off location before 7 pm on Election Day.
- Ballot Status: Track your absentee ballot at Ballot Scout.

Friday, September 20, through Saturday, November 2, is the early voting period for the November 5 General Election. You can vote early at your local voter registration office and satellite locations.
